Funcionários do Ibama entram em greve

No Ceará, o Ibama entra em greve e os grevistas consideram que o órgão esteja em processo de extinção, por já ter perdido gerenciamento de pesca e floresta em todo o território nacional.

O defeso da lagosta, a proteção ao período reprodutivo de avoantes, a apreensão do tráfico de animais e os projetos de educação ambiental. São algumas das atividades do Instituto Brasileiro de Meio Ambiente e Recursos Renováveis (Ibama) paralisadas no Ceará. Desde ontem, os 220 funcionários no Estado aderiram à greve nacional por tempo indeterminado.

A lancha de patrulhamento, responsável pela fiscalização de toda extensão do litoral cearense, assim como os carros-patrulha estão no estacionamento do órgão, sem perspectivas de volta ao trabalho. Na reunião, entre comando de greve e diretoria estadual, decidiu-se que não haverá equipes de plantão. Funcionários terceirizados e estagiários ficarão à disposição do órgão.

Enquanto isso, o Ibama, em nível nacional, conseguiu liminar na 17ª Vara da Justiça Federal determinando o retorno imediato de 50% dos servidores. A liminar garante a prestação de serviços essenciais. O descumprimento resultará em multa diária de R$ 5 mil.

No Ceará, não foi definida se alguma ação será realizada até o fim do defeso da lagosta, 15 de junho, e o monitoramento da reprodução de pombais na Reserva Ecológica de Aiuaba. Hoje, os servidores se concentram nessas atividades.

A reivindicação deles não é por reajustes salariais, mas para o impedimento da Medida Provisória que determina a criação do Instituto Chico Mendes de Conservação de Biodiversidade, em processo de aprovação no Congresso Nacional. Com a possível efetivação do órgão, o Ibama deixa de ser responsável pelas Unidades de Conservação, limitando-se aos serviços de monitoramento, fiscalização e licenciamento.

No Ceará, o Ibama perde o controle sobre dois Parques Nacionais - em Jericoacoara e Ubajara; duas Florestas Nacionais (Flona), em Sobral e Cariri; Áreas de Proteção Ambiental Nacionais, na Serra da Ibiapaba e Crato, além da Estação Ecológica de Aiuaba. Os grevistas consideram que o órgão esteja em processo de extinção, por já ter perdido gerenciamento de pesca e floresta em todo o território nacional.
