08 de março - Caminhada na Praia do Futuro marca Dia Internacional de Luta das Mulheres em Fortaleza

A partir do tema “Contra a exploração capitalista, uma revolução feminista e socialista" diversos movimentos de mulheres realizam uma grande caminhada, no dia 8 de março, a partir das 8h30min, na Praia do Futuro.

Celebrado desde as primeiras décadas do século XX, o Dia internacional de luta das mulheres foi proposto pelas feministas socialistas como um dia de luta pelo fim da opressão e discriminação das mulheres, por igualdade, liberdade e autonomia. O mercado, a mídia e os governos vêm tentando se apropriar desta data como um dia de consumo, reproduzindo a ideologia de que já não temos motivos para lutar e que podem conciliar o ideal de beleza com os trabalhos domésticos e de cuidados, reproduzindo a ideologia capitalista e patriarcal. Da mesma maneira, os governos de direita e esquerda tentam esvaziar a luta política das mulheres através da autopromoção, com a distribuição de prêmios e homenagens e campanhas que pouco ou nada mudam a vida das mulheres.

É nesse contexto de afirmação da luta das mulheres contra o capitalismo patriarcal e racista, que diversos movimentos de mulheres realizam uma grande caminhada, no dia 8 de março, a partir das 8h30min, saindo da praça 21 de março- Praia do Futuro. A partir do tema “Contra a exploração capitalista, uma revolução feminista e socialista, o cortejo ocorrerá em alas, representando as diversas bandeiras de luta das mulheres: pela legalização do aborto, pelo fim da violência contra as mulheres por justiça socioambiental, pelo fim do racismo, da lesbofobia, da violência sexista e do tráfico e exploração sexual das mulheres. Após percorrer parte da avenida Dioguinho, as mulheres retornarão à praça, onde ocorrerá fala política das mulheres e apresentações culturais.

Estarão presentes diversos segmentos de mulheres: pescadoras, camponesas, jovens, negras, lésbicas, de diversas classes sociais e de diversos movimentos feministas e de mulheres, dentre eles: a Articulação de Mulheres Brasileiras, a Articulação de Mulheres de Fortaleza, o Fórum Cearense de Mulheres, Marcha Mundial de Mulheres, a Conlutas, a CUT, a Central dos Movimentos Populares, o Instituto Negra do Ceará, o Coletivo de Jovens Feministas, Secretaria de Mulheres do PT, Secretaria de Mulheres do PSTU, Núcleo de Mulheres do PSOL, dentre outros.
